At New Life Church these values represent the core of who and what we believe God is calling us to be as a church and family.

Humble Ourselves, Honor Others – We live in humility, putting others before ourselves. We honor God, honor leadership, and honor one another. We always assume the best intentions of one another, and we always lift up and speak well of each other.

Seek and Save – Like Jesus, our purpose is to seek and save the lost. Souls are our goal. We desire to see eyes and ears opened to the Truth of Jesus Christ so that people can be redeemed from death into a loving relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Exercise Crazy Faith – We act in faith. Crazy faith. Stupid faith. As foolish as it may seem to the world, we step out of the boat. And then we walk on water.

Pursue Radical Obedience – We aren’t just obedient to God’s calling, we are radically obedient. When Jesus called the disciples to follow Him, they dropped everything and did so immediately. In the same way, we obey the direction and commands of God. We make no excuses; we don’t turn back.

Live Generously – Like Jesus, we give sacrificially of our money, time, and lives. We live our lives in recognition that everything we have and everything we are belong to Him.

Acknowledge that Passion is Critical – At New Life Church, we seek to serve in the areas we are passionate about while continually asking God to stir the fire within us. We recognize that our level of passion is contagious. When we are passionate and excited about serving, others see it and become passionate as well. Likewise, if we serve with a forced heart, our lack of passion spreads to others.

Recognize that we are Changed for a Purpose – While we were sinners, we were lost and broken. God has changed and restored us, not just so that we can live renewed lives, but so that we can partner with Him in bringing change to the rest of the world.

Raise up Replacements – Disciple, mentor, and release. At New Life Church we constantly seek to obey the great commission to make disciples. We train and mentor others even as we are trained and mentored ourselves. We seek to equip others to replace us and advance the Kingdom of God.

Function as a Family – We are a family and act as such. Jesus told us that others would know that we are His disciples by our love for one another. We are there for each other in times of joy and grief, supporting each other in times of need.

Follow Kingdom Strategy – We operate in strategic ways, focused and targeted. In order to do this, we rely upon God as our director and strategist. God’s strategy may not fit in our box, but we still follow and obey in faith. We look to see what the Father is doing, and then we join Him.

Make No Compromises – We recognize that our righteousness comes from Jesus, and we honor Him by making no compromises with regards to sin. We make no judgement on those outside of the Church, but seek holiness in our own lives. We throw off every sin that holds us back from being the men and women God has called us to be, and we pursue holiness because He is holy.

We try our best to live these out, even though we recognize that we are all unfinished works in progress.
