New Life Church offers a food shelf on the fourth Thursday of the month from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
New Life Church Food Shelf is a ministry of Bev and Wayne Jacobson. There are many talented volunteers who offer help and the love of Christ to all who come.
Romans 5:8 tells us, “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Again in Romans 8:31-35…
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”
“…to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. –Ephesians 3:19
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” –Jeremiah 29:11
We believe that God, through Christ, wants to give everyone a future and a hope. He is able to save us if we will come to him. We are thankful for the foodshelf ministry because God loved us and did not forsake us. In our lives, God has reached and rescued repeatedly, even when we were rejected by others. We are so very thankful for his love and want to share that love with others.
Food Shelf ministry opens monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. If you would like to donate non perishable food items, volunteer or are someone who needs help, please contact the church office or by phone (763) 421-0166, or Wayne and Bev by email: jacobsonenv[at]msn.com
